Simple, upfront pricing.
You see the fare before you confirm. Drivers see the payout before they accept. TowGo takes one clearly-stated platform fee. That's it.
What customers pay
Base fare
[BASE_FARE]
Covers dispatch, first hookup, and the first mile.
Per mile
[PER_MILE_RATE]
Charged from the pickup point to your drop-off.
Vehicle class
[CLASS_MULTIPLIER]
Motorcycles, sedans, SUVs, and light trucks. Heavy-duty is a separate quote.
Rates above are Metro Detroit standard hours. Overnight and weekend surcharges — if any — are shown on the quote screen before you confirm.
The platform fee
TowGo keeps a flat platform service fee off each completed job. That fee pays for the app, dispatch, payments, insurance verification, and customer support. Everything else goes to the fleet and the driver.
Platform fee
[PLATFORM_FEE_PCT]%
Charged off the top of each completed tow. Never charged if the job is cancelled before pickup.
Fleet & driver share
[100 − PLATFORM_FEE_PCT]%
Split between the fleet and the driver on whatever terms the fleet owner sets. Independents keep the full share.
Example: an empty tow
You break down on I-696 and need a tow to a shop 8 miles away, in a standard sedan.
| Base fare | [BASE_FARE] |
|---|---|
| Distance (8 mi × [PER_MILE_RATE]) | [MILEAGE_SUBTOTAL] |
| Vehicle class (sedan, 1.0×) | [NO_ADJUSTMENT] |
| Estimated tax / surcharges | [TAX] |
| Customer total | [TOTAL_QUOTE] |
Where the money goes
| TowGo platform fee | [PLATFORM_FEE_AMOUNT] |
|---|---|
| Fleet + driver payout | [PAYOUT_AMOUNT] |
| Driver share (fleet split example: 70/30) | [DRIVER_AMOUNT] |
Numbers here are illustrative. Your actual quote and payout show live in-app before you confirm.
Fleet economics
Fleets don't pay a monthly subscription to be on TowGo. You pay when you earn, not to sit in the platform. That means you can put three trucks on TowGo one week and thirty the next without a plan change.
No subscription
No per-truck monthly fee, no dispatch software fee.
Weekly payouts
Direct to your bank account via Stripe. Same-day for a small fee.
Set your own split
Configure your driver revenue share per driver or fleet-wide.
Cancel-friendly
Customers who cancel late still generate a cancellation fee. You get paid for the drive-out.
No hidden fees. Ever.
The quote you see is the quote you pay. If something changes mid-trip — for example, a customer changes the drop-off address after pickup — the fare updates in the app and both sides get a notification with the new total. Nothing sneaks in on the receipt.
The one exception: if a job requires equipment beyond what was quoted (heavy-duty rigging, extraction), that becomes a separate job with a separate quote you approve first.
